Mesothelioma Litigation

UK widow seeks co-workers of textile factory worker who died of mesothelioma
A UK widow of a man who died of the rare cancer malignant mesothelioma is seeking her husband's former colleagues to help with her asbestos compensation claim.

Kenneth Cooper worked for a number of years at a Bradford textile mill where it is believed he came into contact with the asbestos that ultimately claimed his life at the age of 62, according to the Bradford Telegraph & Argus. Following his death, a coroner ruled that Cooper passed away as the result of an industrial disease.

Cooper's widow, Margaret, is hoping to speak with some of her late husband's former co-workers to find out how he came in contact with asbestos.

The asbestos attorney hired by Margaret Cooper said that the man was never warned about the dangers posed by asbestos and never given any protective equipment.

Exposure to asbestos can have deadly consequences as the inhalation of the deadly mineral fibers has been proven to cause not only malignant mesothelioma but asbestosis and lung cancer as well.

"Ken's family has been left devastated by what has happened," the mesothelioma lawyer told the news source.
