Mesothelioma Treatment Options - Drug Therapy Megace
Megace (megestrol) is a synthetic form of progesterone (female sex hormone) that reduces the production of other cancer-stimulating hormones. It is being tested for its effectiveness in the treatment of breast cancer, mesothelioma, and other cancers. This drug is also being used as an appetite stimulant for AIDS patients.
